Dr. Latif ur Rahman Wardag got his M.Sc. degree from Institute of Chemical Sciences University of Peshawar in 2007 and joined Govt. Degree College Dir as Lecturer in Chemistry for a period of one year. He did B.Ed. from Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad in 2008. Dr. Latif obtained his M.Phil. Degree from Department of Chemistry Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad in 2011. He joined University College for Boys (UCB) University of Peshawar as lecturer in chemistry in 2011. Dr. Latif was awarded HEC-Indigenous Scholarship in 2012 and he also availed HEC scholarship under International Research Support Initiative Program in 2014. He visited Engineering Research Center, University of Cincinnati, United States of America for research where he published research papers in a well reputed international research journal. Dr. Latif has attended numerous national and international chemistry conferences and presented research papers. Dr. Latif earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan in 2016. He has contributed in writing a chapter for a book entitled Room Temperature Catalysis for Environmental Applications published by VCH-Vilely from New York USA. So far the Dr. Latif has 15 research papers published in well reputed international Journals. He is life time member of chemical society of Pakistan.

Area of Interest

Synthesis, Characterization and Applications (Developing Electrochemical Sensor for Detection of Carcinogenic and Environmental Toxin) of Monometallic (Au, Ag, Cu), and Bimetallic (Ag-Cu, Ag-Au, Au-Cu) Alloy Nanoparticles.

To equip myself with the practical knowledge, facing the challenges of the dynamic competitive environment in the field of chemistry and to prove myself, a team player by being a member of high professional, creative, open minded and productive educational institution / organization.
